Luke 1:1-25

QUESTIONS

Why do you think God chooses to work in ways that surprise us?

What's one unexpected way God has worked in your life lately? How do you react if you don't sense God working?

How do you think Zechariah and Elizabeth remained faithful even though their prayers for a child had not been answered?

PRAYER

Thank God for His wisdom and plan. Praise Him that He made a way for us, through two unexpected births (John the Baptist and Jesus). Ask God to help you trust Him in the things that you hold close to your hearts. Pray that our church would be a supportive community for those who experience disappointment.
