Dear Church Family,
As your pastor, I am thrilled to share with you a pivotal moment in the life of our church. For years, we’ve witnessed God’s faithfulness

as we’ve grown together in faith, reached out to our community, and discipled one another. But now, we stand at a threshold—a divine invitation to expand our impact and build for eternity.
Our theme, “The Time is NOW,” echoes the biblical call in Ecclesiastes 3:1: “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
This is our season to act boldly, to invest in a new building that will serve as a beacon of hope, a hub for transformation, and a legacy for generations.
Below, you’ll discover why this moment is so crucial, the vision God has placed on our hearts, and how we can collectively step into the future He’s prepared.
I invite you to prayerfully consider how you might join this journey. Together, let’s delight in Jesus, develop into His image, and declare His Glory.
In Christ,
Pastor Bo

Why Now?

A Growing Mission Field
Our community is changing. New families are moving in. Needs are growing. Many around us have yet to experience the love of Christ.
Current Limitations
Our existing facilities no longer meet the needs of our ministries. Space is tight, classrooms are full, and opportunities for outreach are limited by what we can physically accommodate.
A God-Sized Opportunity
We have been entrusted with resources, people, and a calling. God has placed us here, now, for such a time as this.

The vision

This facility will be more than walls — it will be a place where relationships are formed,
truth is taught, and lives are changed.

A Community Hub:
A gym and spaces for fellowship that invite neighbors in—through sports, events, and shared meals—offering natural opportunities to connect and share Christ.
Expanded Discipleship:
More classrooms for LifeGroups, Bible studies, meeting spaces, and spiritual training.
Strong Youth & Children's Ministries:
Safe, vibrant, purpose-built spaces where children and students can grow in faith and fellowship.

BUILDING FOR GOD'S GLORY.  BUILDING FOR COMMUNITY.  BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE.

Envision the legacy we’re building: A thriving church where future generations delight in Jesus, develop into His image, and declare His love from the neighborhoods to the nations.

EXPANDED REACH:
Hundreds more will find hope through our doors, from youth energized in the gym to adults deepened in fellowship. We’ll address community needs like never before, becoming a beacon of care and truth.
SUSTAINED GROWTH:
With ample space, parking, and accessibility, we’ll accommodate booming attendance and ministries, ensuring no one is turned away. Centralized operations will spark synergy, multiplying our effectiveness.
ETERNAL IMPACT:
This investment equips the next generation, stewarding resources for maximum kingdom fruit. Picture your grandchildren discipled here, carrying the Gospel forward.
By building wisely now, we will position First Baptist Church Brandon to impact lives for decades to come.

FAQ

WHY ARE WE BUILDING?
Our church is growing! It is crucial that we build to accommodate the growth in the number of people we have being discipled weekly. We also need to prepare our church for the next generation who will join FBC Brandon. The future generation who will continue to expand our mission to reach the lost from the neighborhoods to the nations.

WHY AM I ASKED TO MAKE A COMMITMENT PLEDGE?
Your commitment pledge allows FBC Brandon to receive the best bank financing options available. Our loan is directly related to the amount of money pledged to THE TIME IS NOW campaign. Plus, knowing how much you have committed allows us to plan for the future.

DOES MY CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION REPLACE MY TITHE AND OFFERING GIFT?
FBC Brandon uses your faithful tithes and offerings to support the general operations of the church, including paying staff,  funding church ministry, and supporting local and international missions. Your campaign contribution to THE TIME IS NOW will  allow us at FBC Brandon to build as we prepare to meet the needs of a growing congregation.

HOW LONG IS MY COMMITMENT?
We are asking for a three-year commitment from our congregation in order to put our church in the best financial position to pay for our new building. Your three-year commitment can be broken into weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual payments, whatever is best for you. You may also provide a one-time gift, if preferred.

WHY DO I NEED TO MAKE A COMMITMENT IN WRITING?
Your written commitment simply gives us the ability to budget and plan for our financial needs with the bank and represents the prayerful decision that you have made.

IS THERE AN AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT I WILL BE EXPECTED TO COMMIT?
This is a great question! Everyone’s circumstances are different; however, we all share a common goal - to love God and bring others to Christ. Prayerfully consider how you can join in partnership with us to give generously and sacrificially as we build for the future.

WILL I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVISE MY COMMITMENT?
Circumstances change. You may encounter an unplanned hardship or perhaps an unanticipated blessing, which may cause you to consider increasing or decreasing your commitment. You can make an adjustment to your commitment at any time by calling or emailing the church office.

MAY I GIVE ASSETS OTHER THAN CASH?
Yes. Non-cash assets such as stocks/securities, land, etc. may be eligible for donation to THE TIME IS NOW campaign. You may also consider gifting IRA contributions, annuity payments, and other investments to the campaign. Finally, you may consider adding FBC Brandon as a beneficiary in your will. Please contact our Executive & Discipleship Pastor, John Egbert, at jegbert@fbcbrandon.com for more information.

Commitment and giving opportunities will be available at a later date.
